Delves Neighbourhood Team Updates

Resident

The Delves police neighbourhood team have been busy during the course of the week.

Patrols around Chuckery, Parkhall, Delves, Palfrey have all been conducted every single shift. Local residents have been visited if they have wished to speak to an officer for various reasons.

Officers have arrested an individual for shop lifting offences.

Several stop/searches have been conducted for various reasons.

Vehicle was stopped on further investigations driver had no insurance and other document offences. ( Vehicle seized )

Officers were on patrol Saturday 7th November around Walsall arboretum and surrounding streets while fireworks display took place. To say it was busy was an under statement, however all passed off ok. A huge thank you to Walsall Council and Arboretum staff for managing this event.

We are still having reports of thefts from motor vehicles. We are seeing owners leave there wallets, purses, bank cards, driving licence, passports, laptops in the vehicle overnight only to find that the opportunist car thief has taken them when they return back to the vehicle.

Could we ask everyone to be mindful what you leave in your vehicle to help drive this type of crime down.
