📍 Margate Remembrance Sunday 2026 🌺

Today, officers from Kent Police Neighbourhood Task Force were proud to attend the Remembrance Sunday service in Margate, joining members of the community, local organisations, veterans, and representatives from across Thanet in paying tribute to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

The event provided an opportunity for the community to come together in remembrance of the bravery, dedication, and selflessness of the Armed Forces, past and present. Officers observed the two-minute silence and took part in commemorations to honour those who gave their lives in service.

We would like to thank everyone who attended and helped ensure the event was conducted safely and respectfully.

"At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them."
