Primrose Hill Park: Incident Clarification

Primrose Hill Park: Incident Clarification

We have received a number of enquiries regarding emergency service activity in Primrose Hill last night and police presence this morning.

Just after 9pm last night, police attended after an ambulance collided with a lamppost whilst reversing within the park. The resulting damage required attendance from the electricity company, and the lamppost was made safe this morning.

Police were not present for the original incident to which the ambulance was responding, and police assistance was not requested. We are therefore unable to comment on the reason for the ambulance's attendance.

There are no wider public safety concerns arising from this incident.
