new Chair of Green Street West Ward.

Hello everyone,

I am delighted to introduce Aisha Sheikh, who has been appointed as the new Chair of Green Street West Ward.

Unfortunately, our previous Chair RUSTAM TRATI has stepped down due to medical reasons. On behalf of the team, I would like to thank them for their dedication, commitment, and contribution to the ward, and we wish them a full and speedy recovery.

Aisha is currently an Assistant Headteacher at a local primary school in Newham and brings a wealth of leadership experience and community knowledge to the role. their has previously been involved with Green Street West ward meetings and is already familiar with many of the issues and opportunities within our community.

Throughout their career, Aisha has chaired and led numerous initiatives across Newham, demonstrating a strong commitment to community engagement and positive change. their has also represented Newham at Scotland Yard, where their participated in specialist training, further strengthening their leadership and partnership-working skills.

I am confident that Aisha's experience, dedication, and passion for serving the community will be a tremendous asset to Green Street West.

Kind regards,
