Yesterday #RuralTaskForce officers were joined by the #EnvironmentAgency Enforcement Officers to conduct a site visit in connection with suspected #WasteCrime.
The visit disrupted activity which was outside any permit and resulted in a formal cease-and-desist warning.
#WasteCrime can lead to severe environmental and health hazards to the community including pollution and effecting air quality in our rural areas.
It is important we work together with the @EnvironmentAgency to tackle Waste Crime.
If you wish to report suspected Waste Crime activity in your area you can report to the Environment Agency 24/7 on 0800 80 70 60 or CrimeStoppers online.
