Dear Valley Ward Members,
We would like to remind all residents of the importance of remaining alert and taking proactive steps to protect their homes, valuables and neighbourhoods against the risk of residential burglary. Residential burglary can have a significant impact on individuals, families and the wider community, causing not only financial loss but also considerable distress and disruption. However, by taking some sensible security measures, residents can reduce the likelihood of becoming victims of crime. Crime Prevention Advice Working Together A vigilant community is one of the most effective ways to prevent crime. Please look out for your neighbours, particularly those who may be vulnerable, and report any suspicious individuals, vehicles or behaviour to the police. If a crime is in progress, or there is an immediate threat to life or property, call 999. For non-emergency matters, contact police on 101 or report information online. By working together and taking simple preventative steps, we can help keep our homes, families and communities safe from burglary. | ||
