✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

PCSO’s have been visiting the shops on Streetly Road / Slade Road to check lawful legislation of the sale of fireworks and asking to put up posters within the stores.

Officers have been involved with the arrest of 3 males from a group who were trying to car jack a vehicle on 2 separate occasions on the same afternoon they were apprehended in Stockland Green nr to Slade Road …. They were taken in custody and processed.  

Drug operation has taken place with all officers from Stockland Green in a plain clothes and joint uniformed intervention to tackle the ongoing drug dealing that is occurring in the area, this has been a priority for the community and we have listened. A male was stop and searched nr to Hunton Hill for being associated with drugs, however nothing was found upon their persons. 

Officers have been utilised for several operations for the Bonfire events and Xmas market over the last few days as part of the force tasking. 

HMO Lead & DNO officers attended a SEA / HMO property in Stockland Green as part of the working together in partnership and spoke with the tenants and generally engaged in conversation regarding support, safety and any concerns they may have wanted to express …. a positive visit and experience and hopefully one of many visits with our SEA accommodations.

Officers and PCSO’s were out patrolling the area of Stockland Green and Erdington last night as part of the ASB mischief fortnight, attending logs from members of public and showing a visible presence during the Bonfire events.
