Good afternoon,
On Tuesday, PCSOs Pete and Sam attended FLAiM in Creekmoor. FLAiM is a person-centred day provision run by AIMCommunity at Creekmoor Youth Centre, designed for neurodiverse adults, individuals with learning difficulties, and those with disabilities. They had a brilliant time meeting the members are providing a safety talk.
On Wednesday PCSOs Matt and Jason hosted a 2-hour Community Contact Point (CCP) at Café Aroma in #PooleTown as part of our commitment to be contactable at a regular time and location. We spoke to many people, all who had different questions to ask, concerns to raise and intelligence to report. It was a tad chilly, however coffee saw us through.
Also on Wednesday, officers and PCSOs were conducting patrols in the town centre when they detained someone in Hillstreet car park for a Section 23 drug search - the male was evasive upon seeing officers. Suspected class A drugs were found on his person and further checks revealed he was wanted for failing to appear at court. He was subsequently arrested and taken to custody.
🎆 Officers and PCSOs were out on high-visibility patrols around Poole Quay yesterday evening as crowds gathered to enjoy the fireworks display. Patrols focused on providing reassurance to residents and visitors, engaging with members of the public, and helping to ensure everyone could enjoy the event safely. Officers were on hand to offer assistance, deter anti-social behaviour, and work alongside event staff and partners throughout the evening. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event a safe and enjoyable occasion.
