Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Dear Residents

An update from your local Neighbourhood Police Team.

Burglary of a shed has been reported in Leyland Road. Offenders have gained access to a rear garden shed and stolen a mountain bike and tools. Incident is under investigation.

WHAT’s BEEN HAPPENING

Our colleagues at West Midlands Fire service are running free sessions ahead of road safety week. These sessions are aimed at young drivers and newly qualified drivers who feel they would benefit from extra confidence on the road.

The sessions are for two hours and are interactive. They are predominantly aimed at drivers between 17 and 24, however, parents are welcome to come along too.

The next session is on Saturday 14th November at 10am at Coventry Fire station, Radford Road, CV1 4EL.

OPERATION MISCHIEF

As part of Operation Mischief Neighbourhood Officers have been patrolling our parks and green spaces looking out for people using fireworks in an anti-social manner. Please report any anti-social behaviour that you are concerned about over the bonfire season.

Officers have been conducting stop searches in the neighbourhood and have recovered quantities of drugs. This is action we are taking by the intelligence and information we receive from the public. We will be out and about conducting more patrols in the locations that we believe drug dealing is occurring.

PACT MEETING

The community meeting will be on Monday 23rd of November at 6.30pm at the Coundon Social Club. Please come along to discuss issues in your neighbourhood and meet the local councillors.

Enjoy your week ahead

Regards
