DIWALI 2026 at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Temple

Stonebridge SNT would like to make residents aware of the annual Diwali celebrations taking place on Sunday 8 November 2026 at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, NW10 8HW, with a fireworks display taking place later at Gibbons Recreation Ground, NW10.

The celebrations at the Temple will take place between 17:00hrs and 18:30hrs, followed by the fireworks display at Gibbons Recreation Ground from 19:30hrs until 21:00hrs.

Residents are advised to expect significantly increased traffic throughout the area, particularly during the evening. If you are planning to travel by car, please allow extra time for your journey and consider alternative routes where possible.

As in previous years, road closures will be in place for several hours on roads surrounding the Temple, including the section between North Circular Road and Gloucester Road, NW10, to ensure the safety of visitors attending the event.

We would like to thank residents for their patience and cooperation during this busy period and remind everyone to be mindful of the increased pedestrian activity in and around the area. Have a safe and enjoyable Diwali. 🎆
