Community Engagement

Today, PCSO Joanna and PCSO Emma were delighted to attend the Seniors Community Coffee Morning at Saviour Church, Eggington Street.

The event was extremely well attended, bringing together many local residents for a morning of conversation, creativity and community spirit. We enjoyed joining in with the Christmas crafts, speaking with residents about local policing matters, and promoting our Bee In The Loop (BITL) messaging service, with several attendees signing up to receive community updates directly.

These events provide a fantastic opportunity for us to listen to residents' concerns, discuss local policing issues, and build stronger relationships within the community. We were also able to gather valuable information and intelligence that will help us continue to address matters affecting local people.

It was particularly encouraging to see a number of new faces attending, including residents who usually visit the coffee morning at Christ Church, Harpurhey. The warm welcome and positive conversations throughout the morning highlighted the importance of community events in bringing people together and helping us understand what matters most to our residents.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and to the organisers for hosting another successful event. We look forward to continuing to engage with the community at future meetings and events.
