🎆 Bonfire Night Safety Reminder from Your Neighbourhood Policing Team 🎆 |
||
|
With Bonfire Night celebrations taking place across our communities, we're reminding everyone to enjoy the festivities safely and responsibly.
✅ Attend organised firework displays where possible. ✅ Keep a safe distance from bonfires and fireworks. ✅ Supervise children at all times. ✅ Keep pets indoors where possible and ensure they have a safe, quiet space. ✅ Never return to a firework once it has been lit. ✅ Dispose of used fireworks responsibly once they have fully cooled.
Please remember that throwing fireworks, using them in public places, or aiming them at people, vehicles or property is dangerous and could result in police action.
If you're hosting your own display, be considerate of your neighbours, particularly young children, elderly residents and pet owners.
Let's work together to keep Bonfire Night safe, enjoyable and respectful for everyone. If you witness anti-social behaviour or criminal activity, please report it to us online or by calling 101. In an emergency, always call 999.
🎇 Stay safe and enjoy the celebrations! 🎇
