Today, officers from the East Acton & Southfield Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out weapon sweep activities at Trinity Park and Acton Green Common as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping local communities safe.

Weapon sweeps are a proactive way of identifying and removing potentially dangerous items from public spaces, helping to reduce the risk of harm, deter crime, and reassure residents that local concerns are being actively addressed.

We are pleased to report that no weapons were found during today's activity. This is a positive outcome and reflects the continued efforts of the community and local policing teams to keep these areas safe and welcoming for everyone.

We will continue to carry out regular patrols and proactive activities across the ward to help maintain community safety and address local concerns.
