Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) |

Good afternoon,
PSPOs are a legal power that allows councils to restrict or ban specific activities within a defined public area. They are designed to address persistent anti-social behaviour that has a negative impact on the local community's quality of life. PSPOs last three years. After this time, they either expire or can be extended. To be extended, there has to be evidence that they are still needed and residents must have been able to share their views.
