NEIGH-bourhood policing with a truly PAW-sitive outcome! |

The Pollards Hill Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to thank everyone who attended our community engagement event at the New Horizon Centre on Friday 30 October. We have received lots of positive feedback over the weekend – straight from the horses mouth!!! The event brought together local residents and a range of emergency service partners, including officers from the Mounted Unit, Dog Support Unit, local Neighbourhood Policing Team, and the London Fire Brigade. It provided a fantastic opportunity for residents to meet the teams who serve the community, learn more about their roles, and discuss issues affecting the local area. The Mounted Unit certainly helped bring a new meaning to "NEIGH-bourhood Policing", while the Dog Unit ensured the event was truly PAWSITIVE for everyone involved. The horses and police dogs were certainly the MANE event, proving especially popular with children and adults alike, helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Residents were able to COLLAR officers and enquire about our ward priorities. Events such as these are an important part of our commitment to continuously improving relationships between the police and the communities we serve. In particular, we are keen to engage with young people, build trust, break down barriers, and create positive interactions that help shape the future of policing in Pollards Hill. We are grateful for the support shown by residents and our partner agencies and look forward to hosting more events that bring the community together. By working alongside residents, we can continue to build a safer, stronger, and more connected Pollards Hill. From NEIGH-bourhood Policing to FURtastic community engagement, Friday's event was a great reminder of what can be achieved when residents and emergency services come together. 🐴🐶🚒👮♀️
