Another Busy Weekend for Piccadilly Gardens Neighbourhood Policing Team!

Another Busy Weekend for Piccadilly Gardens Neighbourhood Policing Team!

It might be the weekend for most, but there’s no slowing down for officers from Greater Manchester Police’s Piccadilly Gardens Neighbourhood Policing Team!

Officers have been out and about across Manchester city centre this weekend, tackling drug-related offences, identifying wanted individuals and taking positive action against those suspected of criminal activity.

💊 PC Cross Targets Suspected Drug Supply

PC Cross got the ball rolling after arresting an adult male on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

Following his arrest, the male was released on police bail while further enquiries are carried out.

👮 PC Zamecnik – One Offence Leads to Another!

What started as a routine patrol quickly turned into another arrest for PC Zamecnik.

After spotting a male breaching the city’s Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO), PC Zamecnik intervened. Further checks revealed that the individual was also wanted by the courts!

A reminder that even seemingly minor offences can lead officers to individuals wanted for other matters.

⚖️ Double Trouble for PC Simm!

Not content with just one arrest, PC Simm managed two!

During the weekend’s patrols, PC Simm arrested an adult male and an adult female for drug possession offences.

Both individuals have since been charged and will face court proceedings.

🚔 PC Crowson Joins the Action!

Not wanting to miss out on the weekend’s activity, PC Crowson also got involved, making an arrest in connection with a drugs offence.

Another positive result for the team as officers continue their efforts to tackle drug-related criminality in the city centre.

👏 Keeping Manchester City Centre Safe

With five arrests across the weekend, it’s been another productive few days for the Piccadilly Gardens Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Whether it’s tackling suspected drug supply, dealing with possession offences, enforcing the PSPO or identifying wanted individuals, officers continue to demonstrate their commitment to keeping Manchester city centre safe.

The team remains focused on providing a visible policing presence, responding to community concerns and taking proactive action against criminality.
