🚨GOOD NEWS FOR BRENTFORD BUSINESSES!🚨

Proactive policing delivering positive results in Brentford!

Officers from the Safer Neighbourhoods Team took to the streets of Brentford, conducting high-visibility and plain-clothes patrols aimed at tackling retail crime and protecting our local businesses.

Officers also detained a male today who attempted to steal goods from Greggs, demonstrating our continued commitment to tackling retail theft and taking action against those targeting our local businesses.

joint patrols last month delivered positive results, with officers successfully apprehending and remanding a very well known prolific shoplifter.

We were particularly grateful to receive some lovely feedback from a local business following the apprehension of a prolific shoplifter. Their appreciation highlighted just how important visible policing, proactive patrols and strong relationships with our business community are.

We recognise the impact shoplifting has on businesses, employees and the wider community. We want local shop owners and staff to feel supported, reassured and confident that reports of retail crime are taken seriously.

👮 Our message is simple: retail crime will not be ignored.

We will continue working alongside local businesses, carrying out proactive patrols and taking positive action to make Brentford a safer place to work, shop and visit.

Working together to keep Brentford safe. 💙
