Eastbrook and Rush Green's answer to Hubie Dubois (minus the multi-tool flask), Rick, was keeping an eye on this evening's Hallowe'en proceedings, visiting every street on the ward (11.56 miles).
Eastbrookend's Tom Thumb and Bardag lakes featured early on before Rick emerged in Rush Green's stretch of Dagenham Road. He visits included Fels Farm Mews (6.21pm), Valentines Way and Great Cullings (6.35pm).
All of Parish Fields (p), which saw a bounty of Hallowe'en activity, was covered in full before heading on to the likes of Lincoln Avenue (7.32pm), Lilac Gardens (7.51pm) and Laurel Crescent.
The New Avenues Social Club was visited followed by all of the west side of Dagenham Road, featuring Philip Close (8.28pm), Thorntons Farm Avenue and Croxford Way (8.44pm) off Horace Avenue.
Wisdons Close and Alex Guy Gardens (9.07pm) were reached via a thematically misty Central Park (p), before Rick arrived on Rainham Road North's Luke Allsopp Square (9.18pm).
On the Parkside beat, patrols included Woodshire Road, Tony Rawson Way, Fels Farm Avenue (9.50pm), Home Gardens and Hardie Road (10pm, p). Macdonald Avenue, Greenwood Avenue and Eastbrook Close were also covered, with Felhurst Crescent and Delvers Mead (10.12pm) concluding the 4-plus hour 'all warder'.
"For those not taking part in the Hallowe'en stuff, hopefully it was a pretty typical night without too much bother. I, meanwhile, discovered that Teslas have a 'Hallowe'en mode' where they play music." | ||
