Burglary - Lynscott Way

Burglary - Lynscott Way

Here’s an update on burglary locally.

We are making residents aware of an attempted burglary on Lynscott Way during the early hours of 30 October.

A resident reported hearing someone attempting to force entry through their front door. Officers attended and found visible tool marks consistent with an attempt to gain access, although no entry was gained and no property was stolen.

Two males were seen leaving the area in a grey/silver Mercedes GLC around the time of the incident. At this stage, it is not known whether they are linked to the offence.

We are asking residents in Lynscott Way, Lambourn Close, Pampisford Road and surrounding roads to check any CCTV, video doorbells or dashcam footage for anything suspicious and report any relevant information to police, quoting crime refernce number 01/8246687/26.

Please remain vigilant, ensure doors and windows are secure, and report any suspicious activity immediately.
