Community Appeal | Failsworth

This evening we have received numerous reports of anti-social behaviour around Tesco and Lord Lane, Failsworth, including youths firing fireworks at buildings and police officers.

This behaviour is dangerous and puts both the public and emergency service workers at risk of injury.

We are asking parents and guardians to please check where your children are this evening, know who they are with, and speak to them about the consequences of their actions.

Neighbourhood officers are patrolling the area and investigating these incidents. CCTV and body-worn video footage will be reviewed and, where individuals are identified, positive action will be taken.

Officers will also be back out on patrol tomorrow and over the weekend, providing a visible presence and continuing to deal with those responsible.

Thank you to those who continue to support us and provide information.
