Community Engagement Day |
||
|
Today, our local neighbourhood policing team was pleased to organise a successful community engagement event at the New Horizon Centre in Pollards Hill, bringing together residents and partner agencies in a positive and welcoming environment. The event was attended by local police officers, the Mounted Branch, Dog Support Unit, a police carrier, and a police vehicle. We were also delighted to welcome colleagues from the London Fire Brigade, who spent time engaging with residents and supporting the event throughout the day. The event provided an excellent opportunity for members of the community to meet emergency service personnel, learn more about their roles, discuss local concerns, and build stronger relationships with those who serve the area. It was particularly encouraging to see so many residents, families, and young people in attendance. The police horses, police dogs from the Dog Support Unit, and emergency service vehicles proved especially popular and helped create a memorable experience for everyone involved. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the New Horizon Centre for hosting and supporting this event. Today was a strong example of effective partnership working, demonstrating the value of bringing together community organisations, emergency services, and local residents to strengthen community engagement and promote public safety. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the event such a success. Through continued partnership working and community engagement, we remain committed to building trust, supporting local residents, and keeping Pollards Hill a safe and connected community. | ||
