Dispersal order for Boston between 10am and 10pm on Saturday, 31 October |

A dispersal order has been authorised ahead of Saturday’s Boston United home game in the National League against Scunthorpe United. The order runs from 10am until 10pm on Saturday and covers much of the town, including the Jakemans Stadium. It has been authorised following concerns that some people may be planning to cause disruption on Saturday (31 October). The dispersal order gives officers the power to require individuals to leave a specified area if they are contributing, or are likely to contribute to harassment, alarm, distress or crime and disorder. Failure to comply with a direction to leave is an arrestable offence. In considering the wider community, there should be an expectation that members of the public should be able to enjoy their community, or their visit to Boston, without fear of being involved in or witnessing disruption or disorder.
