🚨 Community Alert – Burglary Prevention & Reassurance Patrols 🚨

We would like to make residents aware of a recent increase in burglary offences across the ward, including an aggravated burglary in the Forestdale and Powys Lane area.

Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team is conducting high-visibility patrols on foot and in marked police vehicles to provide reassurance, deter criminal activity, and engage with the community.

We encourage all residents to take a few simple steps to help protect their homes:

🔒 Ensure all doors and windows are locked and secure, particularly rear and side access points.
💡 Consider leaving lights on when away from home or using timer switches.
📹 Make sure any CCTV or doorbell cameras are working correctly.
👀 Remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, individuals, or vehicles.

Our officers will continue to patrol the area and work closely with residents to help keep our neighbourhood safe.

If you see anything suspicious, please report it to police. In an emergency, always dial 999.
