City Centre Action

Your Street Engagement Team (SET) Officers continue to patrol and respond to incidents within Manchester City Centre

Across Manchester, we’re working with partners to support victims, reduce harm, and keep our communities safe.

SET carries out proactive patrols alongside Manchester City Council Rough Sleepers Team and ASBAT.

Throughout this week, we have:

✅Arrested 6 people for a variety of offences including: Breach of Sex Offenders Notification requirement, Failing to appear for theft, breach of bail, bail offences, Section 50 of the Police reform Act

✅ We have attended several logs from businesses in regard to rough sleepers causing issues and refusing to leave

You Said, We Did

✅ We are also working in close partnership with the Anti-Social Behaviour Action Team to remove tents from the Angel Meadow park

Anti-social behaviour can have a real impact on people’s safety and wellbeing. If you’re experiencing issues in the city centre, please report it.
