As well as meeting a man who once shook Michael Jackson's hand and finally delivering on a promise to bring police stickers to some local kids, Rick visited every street in Rush Green today over more than 5-and-a-half hours (8.32 miles).
Heading out just after 3pm and briefly calling by the May and Baker Social Club to see off children enjoying a week of half-term sports and games, Rick arrived in RM7's Fels Farm Mews (4.47pm, p).
Valentines, Great Cullings and all of Parish Fields (5.02pm), including Carnation Close (5.50pm, p), followed.
Harveys Lane and full coverage of the Gorseway (6.18pm) side of Dagenham Road was next, which included Footpath 155 (6.28pm) and Lilac Gardens (6.53pm).
After calling by the New Avenues Social Club, every street to the west of Dagenham Road was checked off, visiting the likes of Philip (7.32pm), Leonard and Legon Avenue (7.47pm).
Harveys Lane (8pm) made way for Great Cullings, Eastbrook Drive (p) and The Chase lakes, before returning back to the May and Baker Social Club (e8.30pm) to check in on staff and patrons.
It was also here where it was decided that, despite the inaccuracies, Braveheart is still a great film.
