Tackling ASB in Brownhills

Tackling ASB in Brownhills

Dear Resident

Our Brownhills neighbourhood team has been taking action following reports of anti-social behaviour in the areas of Chester Road North and High Street. We received a number of complaints from business owners with regards to young people taking part in persistent ASB.

This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and once we’ve identified those involved immediately returned them home.

We’ve visited parents and guardians and handed out ASB warning letters and Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABC). If these are breached we can use it as strong evidence for any future prosecution.

We’ve been carrying out regular patrols in these hotspot areas and will continue to do so.

We’ve launched our Mischief Fortnight campaign to help keep our communities safe during this busy period.

As we get ready for Halloween and Bonfire Night, you'll see more police officers out and about in your neighbourhoods. They'll be keeping an eye on things to prevent crime and make sure everyone stays safe.

Officers will be stepping up patrols in neighbourhoods and near popular event spots to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves safely and responsibly.

If you want to report something suspicious call 101 or 999 in an emergency
