Reinvigorating Neighbourhood Watch across Woodbridge

Reinvigorating Neighbourhood Watch across Woodbridge

Hello Resident

As part of a plan to build Neighbourhood Watch across Woodbridge, we are delighted to say that the Town Council is keen to support this.
Ex-mayor councillor Nigel Phipps is taking the lead.

Myself and my volunteer colleague Nick King will be in Notcutts Cafe on Thursday November 5th 2.30-3.30.

It would be great for you to pop in if convenient, and let us know how your scheme is getting on.

We hope your scheme is thriving, and comforted by the knowledge that there is not a lot of work in running a Watch nowadays.

If however you feel your scheme is not active and you want to disband your scheme, then do drop by and inform us. We will adjust the database, but we hope that is not the case of course.

To support schemes, we will have free branded Watch door/window stickers, a couple of hi-viz street-signs, a lanyard, membership leaflets and crime prevention leaflets. You can also have a free hot drink on us!

The bottom line of course is that the Police tell us that crime is 20% lower in visible Neighbourhood Watch areas. That's a big deal. So you can see why we are motivated!

It would be great to meet you.
