Halloween Weekend |
||
|
From 4pm on Friday 30/10/2026 and throughout the weekend, Clifton and the surrounding areas will be subject to a Section 34 Dispersal Order. What does this mean? •A Section 34 Dispersal Order is authorised by an Inspector under the Anti social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 when there are increased concerns relating to anti-social behaviour, crime, or disorder. • Officers can order you to leave a defined area and stay away for a specified period of time. They can also direct the route you must take when leaving. • For those under the age of 16, officers can take children home or to a place of safety, and their parents or guardians will be notified. • Refusing to leave, returning after being dispersed, or failing to follow instructions without a reasonable excuse is a criminal offence, and you may be arrested. Officers will be visible throughout the weekend to deter anti-social behaviour and will take action where necessary.
