Safer Neighbourhood Team Work

It all started with multiple reports about suspected drug activity at an address. Our PCSO's listened, gathered the information and made sure it was passed on to the wider team.
 

And that's where the teamwork kicked in! 

Safer Neighbourhood PC's attended the address and found a number of occupants hiding inside... clearly not expecting visitors! 

A search of the address located suspected drugs, cash and mobile phones. A 20-year-old man and a 19-year old man were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and another individual was found to be wanted and was arrested too.

This is a brilliant example of why PCSO's are such an important part of policing. The conversations they have, the concerns they listen to and the information they share can help officers join the dots and take action.

It also shows that teamwork really does work. One report might be a piece of the puzzle, but when information is shared and everyone works together, the bigger picture starts to emerge.

So, a big well done to everyone involved, please keep reporting your concerns. You never know which piece of information might make all the difference...
