Safer Neighbourhood Team officers in Mickleover have just responded to concerns from members of the public of a large dog being dangerously out of control in a public space.
After further investigation, the owner of this animal has been identified and issued with a Community Protection Notice Warning
stating strict control measures that the registered keeper must abide by.
The Dangerous Dogs Act of 1991 clearly defines that a dog, dangerously out of control in a public space, is a criminal offence.
This is now in immediate effect and has been put in place for the protection of the wider community.
