Southall Local Police Team Assistance - School Walk

Southall Local Police Team Assistance - School Walk

Southall Local Police Team Assistance

On Thursday 22rd October, officers from the Southall Local Police Team supported Featherstone Primary School during their organised walk along the canal to Parkside Yards at The Green Quarter. In response to concerns regarding recent issues reported along the canal pathway, Southall officers provided a visible police presence and accompanied approximately 90 pupils and staff during part of their journey. The deployment aimed to offer reassurance, promote community engagement, and help ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants.

Officers were pleased to support the school's environmental day activities and engage positively with pupils, staff, and partners throughout the event.

This partnership working demonstrates our ongoing commitment to supporting local schools, maintaining community confidence, and providing a safe environment for young people within Southall.
