Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Hello everyone,

This is a message from St Michael’s Team 1 to update you on what your local officers have been doing this week.

Your neighbourhood officers completed Operation Ruby to tackle robberies in Lady Herbert’s Garden, Priory Place and the Transport Museum.

St Michael’s neighbourhood teams are working hard to keep you safe this Bonfire Night. Mischief Fortnight has started for officers, with increased patrols during half-term, Halloween weekend and Bonfire Night to reduce anti-social behaviour in the City Centre.

Officers will be monitoring the use and sale of fireworks; through plain clothes operations and targeted patrols. Improper use of fireworks can cause significant harm to people and animals, members of the public can only use fireworks on private property and must not use them in public spaces. Any person using fireworks in a public place must have a licence. For guidance on the use of fireworks please see the West Midlands Police website: Fireworks | West Midlands Police. If you see anyone using fireworks improperly or any anti-social behaviour and are concerned, do not hesitate to get in touch by dialling 999 in an emergency, 101 for non-emergencies or our online reporting system Report | West Midlands Police.
