ASB PATROLS
We have been patrolling Willenhall Town Centre as often as we can, we are still working with Walsall Council to collect evidence for a PSPO (Public Place Protection Order)
We are patrolling Willenhall Memorial Park and will continue to patrol the area.
Our Mischief Fortnight started on 23/10/26 to 08/11/26, we will be working closely with Walsall Council and be conducting joint patrols around ASB locations.
We continue to patrol Gough Street due to the ASB issues including youths playing football, sitting in the middle of the road obstructing traffic and general noise. We are working with WHG to tackle these issues. If you are experiencing any issues, please report them straightaway to Police and WHG.
SCHOOLS AND SURGERIES
We attended Police Surgery at The Hive- thank you to the members of the community who attended to talk about issues that concern them. We conducted a Police Surgery at Pool Hayes and spoke to 7 pupils about their behaviour. Attended Warm Space at St Giles Church, this is on every Tuesday between 10 and 12, anyone welcome for a hot drink, breakfast and a chat. Attended Cosy Corner at Chart Centre, this is on every Thursday between 17.00 and 19.00, anyone welcome for food and games. We joined the Junior Pcso’s from Woodlands Academy who went out on their 1st patrol and issued 9 warning tickets and advised drivers about parking illegally. We attended Willenhall E-Act for the Road Safety Performance, which is funded by Walsall Council, it was a fun way for year 7 pupils to understand the serious message of road safety. This was followed by joint patrols with Enforcement Officers to tackle the parking issues outside of school, pleased to say no tickets were issued this time.
PACT MEETING WILL BE HELD AT QUEENS LEA COMMUNITY CENTRE, QUEENS LEA BETWEEN 18.00 AND 20.00HRS. This is open to everyone who reside in the Willenhall area. Your local Police team and Councillors will be at the meeting, pop in if you would like to speak to us about any issues that may be of concern to you in the community.
