After being stolen from its owner's driveway near Kegworth this morning, this tipper truck was reported missing.

Thanks to their local knowledge and understanding of the area, the #ValleyBeatTeam were quickly on scene and began searching known hotspots and tucked-away locations across the beat.

✅ Within just 20 minutes of the theft, officers located and recovered the vehicle.

The owner was understandably delighted to have their vehicle back so quickly, and even the insurance company was impressed by the rapid result.

This is another great example of how local knowledge, proactive policing, and being visible in our communities can make a real difference.
