🚔 Neighbourhood Policing Team Update 🚔
On 22nd October 2026 Officers from both the North and South Neighbourhood Policing Teams worked alongside colleagues from Immigration Enforcement and Trading Standards to carry out visits and checks at a number of businesses across the Forest of Dean. Multiple premises were visited in Cinderford, Newent, Coleford and Lydney. We are pleased to report that no offences were identified although some goods were seized and removed from sale. Positive engagement took place between officers, business owners, staff and members of the local community throughout the day.
Following the conclusion of this operation, officers continued with proactive patrols across the policing area. As a result of these patrols:
✅ A motorcycle was seized in Coleford after being seen being ridden anti-socially, without a registration plate and at excessive speed. ✅ A Sur-Ron e-bike was seized in Cinderford after being observed being ridden through the town.
These results demonstrate the ongoing commitment of your local Neighbourhood Policing Team to tackling anti-social behaviour, engaging with our communities and working with partner agencies to keep the Forest of Dean a safe place to live, work and visit. Thank you to everyone who stopped to speak with officers today. Please note, we're unable to accept reports of crime through Your Neighbourhood Alerts. You can report non-emergency crime online here. Always call 999 in an emergency. | ||
