As part of our commitment to the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Strategy, we recognise the vital role that local communities play in helping us identify concerns and improve safety for women and girls. Understanding the experiences, perceptions, and concerns of those who live, work, and travel in our communities helps us better target resources, address local issues, and develop effective solutions.

In recent years, we have seen growing trust and engagement between women and girls and the police. Increased reporting and continued partnership working demonstrate our shared commitment to preventing and reducing violence against women and girls.

To help us build on this progress, we are inviting members of the public to complete a short online survey.
