Recognising Our Communities

#RecognisingOurCommunities #BlackHistoryMonth

Wishing a very happy Independence Day to all members of our vibrant Zambian community celebrating today.

Manor Park SNT are incredibly proud of the diverse communities that make our neighbourhood and city such an interesting place to live and work.

The Zambian community in the UK is estimated at up to 40,000 people, with the majority living in London.

Within Newham there are lively Zambian communities, actively participating in the life of the borough - including standing for elected office.

This community forms part of a much larger African diaspora - estimated at over 1.5 million people - about 8% of the London's population - all living and contributing to the everyday life of London.

If you see us out on patrol today please come over and say hello!
