A busy week for your dedicated Ward officers

A busy week for your dedicated Ward officers

Good Evening residents,

We have been busy this week engaging with the local businesses to sign them up to our Met engage to help us communicate and tackle the ASB in the area.

A big Welcome to all our new members, its great to have you aboard the met Engage.

A little in sight to what we have been up to.

On a foot patrol, a male made off from PCSO Overy and PC Hassan. He was chased on to Barkston Gardens where PCSO Overy tackled him and he was arrested for immigration offences.

There have been several ASB warnings issued and a warning letter has been sent for begging and trespassing in Café Nero. Thanks to the staff in café Nero for reporting these issues, as we were in the area on foot patrol at the time of the report, officers were able to respond to the calls made.

We assisted Abingdon with an arrest and a section 18 search of a property.

Today, we were out in the storm, walking around Kenway Road, Walgrave road and Redfield road when we responded to a call to The Drey Hotel in Barkston Gardens where a female was refusing to leave and was being aggressive to members of staff. She was escorted from the premises.

Chelsea are playing Tottenham on Saturday at 5.30pm. There is expected to be a large footfall of people leading up to this match and there is going to be a significant police presence during the day.

A very wet day to end the shift, but we have had a very productive week.  The team are off this weekend but we will be back in the office on Monday.

Any ASB, please email us on here and we will pick it up on Monday. If there is an emergency, please dial 999.

We wish you a fabulous weekend.
