Storm Boelo follows hot on the heels of Storm Austen later on Saturday, with forecasters warning of continued disruptive conditions.
🌧️ Drive slower than usual.
🌧️ Use dipped headlights, especially when visibility is reduced.
🌧️ Leave more time to react by increasing the gap between you and the vehicle in front to at least four seconds.
🌧️ Watch out for standing water on the roads.
🌧️ Keep your eyes on the road, as spray from other vehicles can suddenly reduce visibility.
🌧️ Carry essentials in your car, such as water, snacks, a portable charger and warm clothing.
