Dear Residents, You may notice an increase in police presence over the next few weeks. Your local policing team want to reassure the public that there is a strict plan currently in place for dealing with crime around the Halloween and Bonfire Night period. We want everyone to enjoy the festivities, and officers will be working hard from Friday 30 October to Sunday November 8 to keep the public safe. Teams will be focused on tackling crime around illegal music events, antisocial behaviour, and violence against women and girls. Lots of our officers will be out and about during this period and we encourage members of the public to approach them for chat around any local concerns. Halloween should be a fun occasion, and the Neighbourhood Watch have a few tips to keep you and your loved ones safe: For more tips on safety around Halloween, please visit the Neighbourhood Watch website via this link: https://www.ourwatch.org.uk/news/have-safe-halloween
