🚔Joint working to Tackle County Lines - St Marks 🚨
St Mark's neighbourhood policing team recently carried out joint work with British Transport Police (BTP), using a passive drugs dog to help disrupt county lines activity and tackle drug-related crime.
It was great to have St Mark's Councillor Helen Milestone attending and supporting our local partnership work.
Working together with our partners and community helps us to identify and disrupt criminal activity, keeping our neighbourhood safe for everyone👮🚓
There were a total of 30 searches, low level class B possession seizures.
Revenue protection staff achieved the following: 6 penalty fares 10 MG11 (report for process) 6 Unpaid Fares Notice
1 arrest for Wanted for Breach of Court Order, wanted since 29/04/2026 at Basildon Magistrates Court.
Due to an incident at Woking we had to cut the operation short due to severe disruption and cancelled trains, despite this station staff & revenue were very grateful for the Police reassurance especially during the initial overcrowding due to post incident procedures.
