Over recent years, we have seen increased trust and engagement between women and girls and the police. Reporting levels have risen, and our collective response continues to demonstrate our commitment to preventing and reducing violence against women and girls.

As part of the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Strategy, we recognise the vital role the public plays in helping us identify and address VAWG-related concerns within our communities. Listening to the experiences of women and girls provides valuable insight into where issues are occurring, enabling us to target resources more effectively, develop appropriate solutions, and make our communities safer.
