We are holding our first Walk and Connect event in Sturminster Newton. The female-led event for women and girls is taking place between 10am and 11am and will include a walk along the North Dorset Trailway.

The event, organised by Dorset Police in partnership with STARS Dorset and Sturminster Newton Town Council, is an opportunity for women and girls to discuss concerns they have around safety, as well as a chance to share their own experiences.

We will meet at the designated location before setting off on an informal walk along the North Dorset Trailway. We will then turn back and return to our starting point, where the walk will conclude. Throughout this attendees are encourage to speak informally to us and our partners about any concerns. We can then work with our partners around issues raised.
