Working Together to Address Community Safety Concerns in Fairfield |
Dear Fairfield Ward Members,
Last week, officers from Fairfield SNT met with representatives from several charities working in central Croydon. The meeting focused on personal safety, anti-social behaviour (ASB), and issues relating to Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). It was a valuable opportunity to speak with people who work at the heart of our community every day. We hope those who attended found the discussions as beneficial as we did, and that they left with useful information and advice. Conversations covered a wide range of topics, from crime prevention and personal safety advice to the experiences staff have encountered while working and commuting through Fairfield. These discussions provided a valuable insight into the challenges faced by those who live and work in the area. The information shared will help us build a clearer picture of the issues affecting the ward and support our ongoing efforts to tackle anti-social behaviour and other concerns raised by the community. We would like to thank everyone who attended and encourage residents, businesses and community organisations to continue sharing information with us. Your reports and feedback help us better understand local issues, direct patrols and identify opportunities for enforcement action where necessary. Fairfield SNT is always keen to engage with local organisations, charities and community groups operating within the ward, and we would be happy to arrange similar meetings in the future to discuss concerns, share crime prevention advice and strengthen our partnership working within the community.
