You may have noticed an increase in police presence around the A5 road.
Over the weekend, specialist officers operating in your local area have made 16 arrests as part of ongoing efforts to tackle violent crime and other serious offences.
Suspects were arrested for offences including burglary, dangerous driving, being in possession of an offensive weapon, and drug dealing.
A particularly notable result was the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of approximately £7,000.
Officers also identified a vehicle linked to a series of high-value burglaries committed across the country, leading to the seizure of a significant quantity of stolen jewellery.
The last 48 hours brought together officers and staff from across the Met. This coordinated effort highlights the strength of partnership working across specialist and local policing teams to disrupt criminal activity and keep our communities safe. | ||
