Recent Burglaries and Reassurance Patrols

Good Morning Residents,

We are aware of recent burglaries reported in the area and understand the concern this may cause within the community. Officers will be carrying out high-visibility reassurance patrols in the affected areas and continuing to gather information to identify those responsible.

We would ask residents to remain vigilant and take steps to secure their homes:

• Ensure all doors and windows are locked, even when at home.
• Keep keys out of sight and away from doors, windows and letterboxes.
• Leave lights on timers when out to give the impression the property is occupied.
• Ensure CCTV, alarms and doorbell cameras are in good working order.
• Store valuables out of sight and consider property marking where possible.
• Be alert to unfamiliar people or vehicles acting suspiciously in residential areas.

If you witness suspicious activity, please report it via 101 or 999 in an emergency or if a crime is in progress.

Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to patrol the area and provide reassurance to residents. Thank you for your support and assistance in helping keep our community safe.
