|
For a number of years, the North Acton Ward Panel has faced challenges in achieving consistent attendance and representation from across the ward. As a result, and due to low participation levels, the panel has operated without a permanent chair for some time.
I firmly believe that ward panels are an important part of local policing. They provide residents and businesses with the opportunity to hear about issues affecting the area, discuss community concerns, and help shape the priorities that the Neighbourhood Policing Team focuses on.
Just as importantly, the panel plays a vital role in holding the local policing team to account. If you have ideas on how we can improve the panel, or if you would like to become involved, please get in touch. Whether you are interested in attending meetings, taking on a more active role, or simply sharing your thoughts, I would be grateful to hear from you.
Together, we can ensure that the North Acton Ward Panel is a strong and effective voice for the local community. | ||
