Dear Resident,

Motorcycle & Scooter Rider Information Session

Our partners at Kent County Council’s Road Safety Team are inviting Ashford residents and their families to attend a free information session for young people who are currently riding, or considering learning to ride, a motorcycle or scooter.

Are you aged 16, 17 or 18, or do you have a child who is thinking about learning to ride? Join this FREE course to learn more about:

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

The Highway Code

Motorcycle licensing requirements

Rider safety and responsibilities

And much more

If you are under 18, parental or guardian consent is required. Please arrive at 9:30am with your parent or guardian to complete the necessary consent forms before the session begins.

No pre-booking is required – simply turn up on the day.

If you have any questions, please contact the Road Safety Team directly at saferroadusers@kent.gov.uk.
