Targeting Illegal Activity at Snooker Halls/Games Lounges

Bradford District CVET, neighbourhood policing teams and partner agencies have continued targeted activity at premises where concerns have been raised around criminality, exploitation and safeguarding.  These location are used for Gaming activity, snooker and social gatherings.

Recent operations resulted in 20 drug searches, two arrests for possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, 11 further drug-possession outcomes and the recovery of 10 nitrous oxide canisters. Officers also gathered significant intelligence, while partner agencies identified licensing, fire, food and electrical safety concerns.

This partnership approach will continue across Bradford, targeting locations of concern, disrupting criminality and exploitation, safeguarding vulnerable young people and providing reassurance to local communities.
