#YouSaidWeDid | Following recent complaints about anti-social driving across the Cannock Chase district, officers have been increasing #ProblemSolvingPolicing patrols in hotspot areas to tackle the behaviour causing concern in our communities.

They didn’t have to wait long! 👀🚔

While out on patrol last night, neighbourhood officers, PC Katie Wood and Special Sergeant Gary Aitken witnessed a vehicle overtake another vehicle at speed before continuing to be driven in an anti-social manner.

What the driver hadn’t realised was that a marked police vehicle was watching nearby! 🫣🚨

Officers stopped the vehicle and subsequently seized it under section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002. 

We know that anti-social driving can have a real impact on residents and road users. Your concerns matter, and we’ll continue to take action against those whose driving puts others at risk and causes disruption in our communities.
